Carlos was active in The Robot Group while he was pursuing his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Texas – Austin.
In the early days of the WWW, Carlos hosted The Robot Group web site on the university’s servers (ca. 1994 – 1995).
Now located in Silicon Valley, he is the Founder and Chief Instigator at Amahi. He has had an extended career in the software and semiconductor industries, having worked at Bell Labs Research, Transmeta and NVIDIA.
Carlos was an early contributor to the Linux kernel. Linux has been a passion of his since the early days.
